NSW Health has also issued a list of updated venues for testing after confirmed COVID-19 cases were found to have visited a number of locations around Sydney.
Anyone in the state is asked to come forward for testing if they have symptoms, and isolate until a negative result is received.
“The source of these infections remains under investigation, though genome sequencing points to the strain being of US origin,” the agency said.
